Our Story

Our story starts with Grandpa João back in Brazil in the 1950s where he worked as a gardener and was very sought after as no one could prune a rose as well as he did… Grandma Maria was the one who did the rose planting if the job required, because grandpa couldn’t plant a rose to save his life! He instilled in his family his love for gardening. Many years after he passed away, I moved to the United States, and was able to put to good use the few tidbits I remembered from him.

Casa Varani Flowers started to take shape after we moved to our current location and had to remove a large amount of damaged and sick trees from our city lot. In the process of figuring out what to do, this idea was born.
